The purpose of the studies is the proper and functional design of the projects, ensuring compliance with current legislation while taking into account existing conditions in the area, as well as the requirements that need to be assessed and addressed.
The studies examined the stability of the levees and the stream bed walls of the Scholari stream and its diversion channels, as well as the adequacy of the drainage ditch at the national road, in order to ensure unrestricted water flow after the implementation of the projects. They also examined whether any interventions were required in the surrounding areas of Scholari and Langadikia for the supply and restoration of Lake Koroneia, including the creation of ponds at appropriate locations and other hydraulic works.
