Break Even Consulting IKE, recognizing its responsibility to contribute to environmental protection and address climate change, is committed to continuously improving its environmental performance by setting clear goals for its operations. Within this framework, the Company has developed and adopted this Environmental Policy for environmental protection, which constitutes a commitment to its business strategy and demonstrates its determination to comply with the principles of sustainable development.

Break Even Consulting IKE has adopted and implements an Environmental Management System, following the requirements of the international ISO 14001:2015 standard. The Company is committed to reducing the environmental impacts associated with its operations by assessing and adapting its actions to the goals and strategy of the organization.

The basic principles of Break Even Consulting IKE’s Environmental Policy are as follows:

  • Monitoring and complying with environmental legislation and the compliance obligations arising from applicable legal provisions and the regulatory framework.
  • Identifying, assessing and monitoring the environmental impacts arising from all of the Company’s activities.
  • Ensuring the sustainable management of waste generated during the Company’s operations through the following initiatives:
  • Recycling packaging materials, paper, plastic and aluminum, and encouraging employees to properly and effectively collect and recycle solid waste.
  • Recycling non-functional electrical and electronic equipment, batteries, lamps, ink cartridges and other materials.
  • Limiting unnecessary use of paper and printed material by digitizing, wherever possible, the Company’s procedures, making electronic recording and electronic archiving the preferred option.
  • Identifying, assessing and monitoring the environmental impacts arising from all of the Company’s activities.
  • Procuring and using products derived from sustainable and recycled raw materials, where feasible.
  • Responsible energy use through the adoption of energy-saving practices and the enhancement of the Company’s energy efficiency.
  • Conservation of natural resources in the Company’s daily operations.

  • Training and raising employees’ awareness of environmental issues in order to strengthen their environmental awareness, ensure the performance of their duties in an environmentally responsible manner, encourage the adoption of environmental practices in their daily lives, and ensure the proper management of recyclable materials and the minimization of waste generated.
  • Communicating environmental commitments and actions to employees, suppliers, customers and the wider community in which the Company operates.
  • Conducting the Company’s activities with environmental protection, as well as the health and safety of its employees, in mind.

In addition to the above principles, which are non-negotiable for the Company, the criteria for evaluating partners during and after completion of the projects assigned to them include specific criteria aimed at achieving the highest possible quality of services provided by partners, safeguarding the Company’s interests and ensuring long-term cooperation with them.

Combining the Company’s business development with environmental preservation and aiming to strengthen its sustainability, Break Even Consulting IKE is committed to adopting and continuously implementing the requirements of the ISO 14064 standard concerning climate change and sustainability. The Company is committed to carrying out an annual inventory of its carbon footprint for the year 2023 and to defining targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions resulting from its activities. All of the above is intended to guide the Company’s efforts toward strengthening its sustainability and developing, adopting and implementing an appropriate action plan to reduce its carbon footprint.

Break Even Consulting IKE aims to continuously contribute to environmental protection, as a fundamental pillar of its operations, by actively supporting environmental education and awareness initiatives and events, both for businesses and organizations, thereby helping to strengthen broader environmental awareness.

The Company’s Management is committed to providing the necessary resources to ensure the proper implementation of the Environmental Policy and the continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System, with the aim of strengthening the Company’s environmental performance..
