Break Even Consulting, having proven experience in technical consulting projects and in the preparation and development of studies in the field of environmental science, with expertise in waste and wastewater treatment, undertook the preparation of an efficient and innovative development and operation plan for the management of the sludge generated by 6 Waste Treatment Units.
Description
As part of the development of an efficient and innovative management plan for the generated sludge, the following stages were implemented:
- Assessment and analysis of the existing condition of the Waste Treatment Units and of the sludge generated in the Industrial Areas managed by ETBA Industrial Areas S.A.
- Analysis of alternative options and best practices for sludge management.
- Preparation of a development and operation plan for a new sludge management project.
Solution
Sludge management through drying, gasification and circular economy methods, with the aim of reducing waste disposal and achieving energy recovery.
