Break Even Consulting has supported the Municipality of Paros and the Municipality of Naxos in developing multiple projects in the agricultural sector, with the aim of improving agricultural production.
The construction and modernization of new irrigation projects are expected to have a positive impact on the quality of life of residents, as they are anticipated to improve their economic situation.
Description
The irrigation projects studied by the Company are as follows:
- Improvement and modernization works of the T.O.E.B. irrigation networks in Archontou, Naxos.
- New irrigation network & reservoir in the Local Community of Kynidaros, Naxos.
Solution
Within the framework of the project “Hydraulic Study for the Improvement and Modernization of the T.O.E.B. Archontou Irrigation Networks”, the proposed works are:
- New irrigation network in the Tsouknida – Kato area, with a total length of 2,500 m.
- New irrigation network in the Diakopto – F area, with a total length of 1,600 m.
- New irrigation network in the Themelo – F area, with a total length of 2,700 m.
Within the framework of the project “Irrigation Network & Reservoir in the Local Community of Kynidaros”, the proposed works are:
- Gravity transmission pipeline with a total length of 1,100 m.
- New irrigation reservoir with a useful capacity of 300 m³.
- New irrigation water distribution network with a total length of 4,000 m, which will serve 500 plots for agricultural land irrigation.
- Electromechanical interventions in the irrigation borehole for its modernization.
