Break Even Consulting, acting as consultant to ETBA VI.PE. S.A., undertook the preparation and submission of funding proposals for inclusion in the “Smart Manufacturing” initiative and the promotion of innovative entrepreneurship in organized business clusters (such as Industrial Areas and Business Parks).

Description
Our company, as a key consultant to ETBA VI.PE. S.A. and within the framework of financing major projects for the upgrading of industrial areas, undertook:
- Support regarding legislative interventions for key regulatory framework provisions concerning the operation of Industrial Areas and Business Parks under the responsibility of ETBA VI.PE., within the framework of their sustainable operation and in line with the requirements of the wider energy market operator (such as ETBA VI.PE.) towards the legislator.
- Support in the licensing procedures of Business Parks and Industrial Areas, within the framework of accelerating the licensing of Parks.
- The integration of projects into financing schemes, including the organization of the company’s technical program, with the aim of achieving the development initiatives of its strategic objectives.
- Technical assistance in the maturation of studies, monitoring and successful implementation of the studies for the projects included in the company’s technical program.
Solution
Overall, the proposed interventions focus on the digital transformation of industrial areas, the development of environmental infrastructure throughout the country, and the reduction of energy, environmental and operational costs for small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as on reducing regional inequalities. At the same time, the large scale of the proposed interventions aims to improve the prospects for employment, through the creation of new and better jobs in businesses located within Industrial Areas.
