What We Offer
Break Even Consulting provides services for assessing and recording the water footprint of businesses and organisations, with a particular focus on the industrial sector. Specifically, it assesses a multidimensional and complex indicator of water use that expresses the quantity of water consumed directly or indirectly (virtual water within the supply chain) in the production of goods and services. A water footprint assessment enables businesses and industries to understand their water consumption and identify areas of water wastage. Three components are considered when assessing the water footprint: blue water, relating to the consumption of surface water and groundwater; green water, relating to rainwater stored in the soil as moisture; and grey water, representing pollution caused by the wastewater generated. Once areas requiring improvement have been identified, tailored actions for sound and sustainable water management are proposed, with measures designed to reduce water consumption and conserve water.
