Break Even Consulting Group at Attica Green Expo 2025 – Connecting Innovation with Green Development

Break Even Consulting Group successfully concluded its participation in Attica Green Expo 2025, reaffirming its strategic role in strengthening innovation with a social and environmental impact. For the fourth consecutive year, the Group participated as a Strategic Sponsor of the country’s largest environmental exhibition, highlighting the values of sustainability, entrepreneurship and the interconnection between research and the market.

As part of the Group’s participation, its stand was located at the heart of the exhibition pavilion, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and the exchange of ideas with representatives from the business and academic communities, Local Government, central government and numerous visitors to the exhibition.

A highlight of this year’s presence was the organisation of a thematic panel discussion entitled:

“Innovation and Sustainable Solutions from the Academic Community to Local Society”

The panel took place on Thursday, 29 May, on the exhibition’s Main Stage. The participation of distinguished representatives from the academic and institutional community added particular weight to the discussion, with the presence of: Minister of Development, Panagiotis Theodorikakos, whose participation provided significant confirmation of the importance of dialogue.

The Minister highlighted the decisive role of cooperation between the state, universities and entrepreneurship, specifically referring to the important share of the Ministry of Development’s funding directed towards research institutions, with the aim of strengthening innovation, upgrading infrastructure and promoting the Greek economy. As he characteristically stated:
“We want a Greece that is productive, innovative and outward-looking – and this requires investment in knowledge and cooperation.”

The panel also included:

  • Prof. Michail Sfakianakis, Rector of the University of Piraeus
  • Prof. Charalampos Billinis, Rector of the University of Thessaly
  • Prof. Spyridon Kintzios, Rector of the Agricultural University of Athens
  • Prof. Athanasios Katsis , Rector of the University of the Peloponnese

The discussion was moderated by Antonis Papadopoulos, Head of Growth and Partnerships of the Group.

The discussion focused on connecting applied research with local communities and the market, strengthening university entrepreneurship and leveraging technology for the green transition.

Break Even Consulting Group’s participation in Attica Green Expo 2025 provided an important platform for engagement with businesses, organisations and institutions, reaffirming the company’s position as a catalyst for collaborations between knowledge, innovation and sustainable development.

Our team warmly thanks everyone who honoured us with their presence at the exhibition, and we look forward to next year’s event with the same commitment to progress, collaboration and environmental responsibility.
