Break Even Consulting successfully completed two seminars aimed at strengthening sustainability within the Hellenic Olympic Committee. The seminars sought to cultivate an environmental mindset among all employees and contribute collectively to the Committee’s efforts to reduce its environmental footprint, while also shaping a sustainability vision and culture for current and future generations. Conducting training activities for all staff is an important part of the HOC’s strategy to reduce its carbon footprint and achieve its Net Zero target. The training focused on raising staff awareness of sustainability and environmental policy issues to promote environmental practices. Through the training, the Committee’s staff developed greater environmental awareness and received comprehensive information and training on the adoption and implementation of sustainable practices. The training sessions were held at the HOC offices and the Panathenaic Stadium, where employees were informed about the principles of sustainability, energy-saving practices in buildings, proper waste management to reduce waste generation, and the new green procurement policy adopted by the Committee. |
