Break Even Consulting has successfully submitted proposals under the call “Pilot Actions for the Management of Separate Collection and Transport of Organic and Recyclable Materials as a Service – Pay as you throw – Gain as you sort” of the Operational Programme “Transport Infrastructure, Environment and Sustainable Development.” The call aims to implement pilot actions through Pay As You Throw (PAYT) programmes and raise public awareness of the “Pay as you throw” or “Gain as you Sort” principle. In particular, the Pay As You Throw pilot scheme aims to serve as an incentive to increase waste separation at source and as a disincentive to reduce the amount of mixed municipal waste.
