At Attica Green Expo, visitors had the opportunity to visit the Blue Innovators of Piraeus booth and learn about the services we provide, including educational seminars, networking activities and consulting guidance for developing innovation among small and medium-sized enterprises. As part of our support for businesses in the Municipality of Piraeus, four companies active in the Blue Economy are participating at our booth. More specifically, the participating companies are:

- Rhoé: A company with extensive expertise in the energy and transport sectors, providing environmental impact assessment services and studies of optimal land use for renewable energy projects.
The active presence of Blue Innovators of Piraeus was combined with the participation of representatives of the mechanism, who gave substance and experience to the event, as well as a constructive discussion with representatives of the Region, the Municipality of Piraeus and entrepreneurs from the Blue Economy.
In this context, Ms. Eleni Mitséa, Head of the Blue Innovators of Piraeus project activities, moderated the discussion entitled “Sustainability in the Blue Economy Sector: Prospects and Best Practices,” with the participation of Mr. Antonis Papadopoulos-Nikou, President of the Piraeus Chamber of Tradesmen (EEP); Mr. Giannis Voutainas, Deputy Mayor for Planning and Development of the Municipality of Piraeus; Mr. Dimitris Karfidis, and Mr. Giorgos Koumpourakis, Partner & CEO of Break Even Consulting, the project contractor. During the discussion, issues related to sustainability and new trends in the Blue Economy sector were highlighted.
