As part of Attica Green Expo, Antigoni Chareasa Vasilopoulou, athlete of the Greek National Team in the sport of Para Triathlon, gave an interview at the Break Even Consulting booth.
During this period, Antigoni is training intensively together with her teammate Sofia Maltezou for the 2024 Paralympic Games. In her interview with Break Even Consulting, she shared her experiences and the challenges she faces as an athlete. During the conversation, Antigoni also spoke with great enthusiasm about an important initiative by her and her team in the field of food waste reduction: the Foodbag app.
More specifically, the app promotes sustainability and the reduction of food waste, allowing shops and restaurants to offer surplus food products to consumers at a significant discount. This innovative idea comes from the 1st Innovation Competition of the Metropolis of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki, Innovate East.
The competition is coordinated by Break Even Consulting and aims to collectively identify innovative solutions for the wider region of Eastern Attica.
It is therefore an important project of social interest, which aims, among other things, to improve residents’ quality of life and promote the development of the wider region.
Our company is committed to supporting young people, with sustainability and innovation as our guiding principles. The Foodbag initiative focuses on creating a better environment for everyone, promoting development and improving the quality of life in local communities.
