Break Even Consulting is committed to being a responsible business entity and a sustainable company that meets and fully addresses the needs of its customers, following and complying with all principles as well as its business ethics, making the company reliable and transparent in its transactions.

The proper selection of the company’s partners is of crucial importance in order for the company to achieve its objectives.

Therefore, the company actively relies on the experience and skills of the partners it selects and, on their part, requires compliance with the applicable legislative and regulatory framework concerning human rights, employment rights, environmental protection, employee health and safety, integrity and transparency.

In this context, this Supplier Policy has been drafted in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. It reflects and incorporates these fundamental principles and establishes a stable and transparent framework for cooperation with all of the company’s partners.

  • Purpose of the Policy

The purposes of this policy are:

  • Transparency in the company’s relationship with its partners.
  • Building relationships of trust with its partners.
  • The company’s contribution to the wider community through the services it provides and its commitments arising from this framework.
  • Creating and developing a climate of cooperation with its partners, with respect for human rights.
  • Respect for and compliance with all regulatory frameworks that define the values and principles governing professional and social life.

Furthermore, the purposes of this policy also include:

  • A clear and developed methodology and protocol of steps to be followed in order to ensure that cooperation with partners is based on criteria clearly defined by the company.
  • The elimination or, where possible, minimization of failures in the provision of services by its partners to the company.
  • Basic Principles of Cooperation

Based on this Policy, the company expects all its partners to operate and behave in accordance with existing principles, values and commitments:

  • They undertake to comply with all laws and regulations within any applicable framework related to their cooperation with the company and all areas concerning the company’s activities.
  • They undertake to avoid any act of unfair competition and any involvement in unfair business practices, particularly when acting in cooperation with the company.
  • They undertake to respect International Principles and Human Rights Standards, as well as all laws governing employment in the countries where they operate and human rights. Minimum legal working-age requirements must be observed, and child labor or any form of forced labor must not be used in any of their activities.
  • They undertake to comply with the obligations arising from the social and labor legislation, the national legislation, the law of the European Union, national law, collective agreements, or international provisions of social and labor law.
  • They undertake to promote health and safety at work. For this reason, contracts contain provisions requiring compliance with the applicable national legislation on employee health and safety and with the company’s policies and other requirements.
  • They undertake to strictly comply with the legal framework and to establish control and prevention mechanisms regarding regulatory compliance, corruption and bribery. In addition, they undertake to ensure that their employees have sufficient independence in decision-making and can effectively address corruption and bribery.
  • They undertake to maintain the quality of the services provided. Given that the company seeks to ensure that the services it provides to its customers meet the requirements established by legislation, national standards and customer specifications, its partners must ensure the provision of high-quality services both during the execution of the relevant contracts and during the delivery of services.
  • They undertake to comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations. Partners must have an environmental policy, be informed about climate change, seek to minimize their environmental impacts, and act responsibly in the prevention and management of environmental risks, as well as in the responsible management of natural resources.
  • They undertake to comply with the confidentiality and regulatory framework for the protection of personal data. Partners must implement appropriate technical measures to ensure full safeguarding of the confidentiality of personal data.
  • Partner Evaluation and Selection Criteria

In addition to the principles listed above, which are non-negotiable for the company, the criteria for evaluating partners during and after completion of the works assigned to them include specific criteria aimed at achieving the best possible quality of services provided by partners and ensuring that the company’s interests are safeguarded and that long-term cooperation with them is maintained.
