Legal Officer – Public Sector Tenders Department

Responsibilities
- Provide legal support on matters arising throughout public procurement tendering and contracting procedures.
- Draft, negotiate and execute public contracts.
- Collect and review the legal documentation required for tender submissions (participation documents, technical and financial bid, contract award documentation and contract).
- Prepare, draft and review all legal documents included in tender submissions.
- Prepare and negotiate tender documentation.
- Provide legal support for agreements with subcontractors and consortium members.
- Address queries relating to the tendering procedure and liaise with the contracting authority.
- Provide legal representation before the competent authorities in challenges against decisions of the contracting authority.
- Provide legal support in resolving related disputes before administrative authorities and courts.
- Ensure compliance with all required procedures for the Company’s participation in public-sector works, supply and service tenders.
- Monitor the progress of tenders and contracts, liaise with contracting authorities, and draft the necessary correspondence and documentation.
- Meet tender submission deadlines, requiring close collaboration with all Company departments and the ability to work within tight time constraints.
- Provide administrative support for all departmental activities, including the management of communications, correspondence, documents, and physical and electronic records.
- Monitor and identify public tender notices.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree.
- Knowledge of public procurement legislation and tendering procedures.
- Laws 4412/2016 and 4782/2021. 4782/2021)
- Knowledge of the National Electronic Public Procurement System (ESIDIS) platform.
- At least two years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of a second foreign language would be an advantage.
- Excellent computer skills; MS Office certification would be an advantage.
